An Afternoon Meeting in the RV Park
Elk Country RV Park in Trinidad, CA makes guests sign a waiver acknowledging that we are aware of the possibility of elks roaming the premises, that we will be cautious leaving our motorhomes, and that we will not approach any members of the herd.
Jeff has almost given up hope in seeing any elk. Ever since we arrived in Remote, Oregon and learned about elk hunting, he has been eagerly awaiting a chance to observe them. Once he saw a herd from a long distance in a field off Highway 42. And throughout our travels, every time we pass an elk crossing sign, he is hyped up with positive energy only to be disappointed again and again.
But today is a different story! We wake up to the presence of the Grand Poobah of the herd spotted on the premises.
Later, we get invited to a Lodge Meeting…
Apparently one of the committee meetings is in our campsite.
